Ms. Ongtenco graduated with a degree in Management, major in Communications Technology Management from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2014. After college, she worked for a year in government and ventured into a social enterprise start-up before studying law. She obtained her Juris Doctor from De La Salle University - Tañada-Diokno College of Law in 2021.
While in law school, Ms. Ongtenco participated in various moot competitions. In 2018 and 2019, she and her team represented the school in Seoul, South Korea for the Foreign Direct Investments Arbitration Moot. In 2019, her team qualified for the global rounds in the same tournament in Miami, Florida. She was the Vice-Preisdent of the DLSU Law Moot and Debate Society for Academic Year 2017-2018, and was the President of the organization in the following year.
She was admitted to the Bar in 2022.
